A Monumental Day

We went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe today, as well as to the very, very top of the Eiffel Tower. Down below, waiting in line to buy tickets, I was pretty hesitant, but Eddie was pretty insistent. I began to feel a bit of anxiety just at the thought of it, but then I decided that the thought of going up was probably worse than doing it and so we went, and it was just fine. Wonderful, in fact.
